Biography:
Mathias is an independent systems analyst and software engineer based in Guangzhou, China, focusing on mobile application development (Android, iPhone, BlackBerry).
He is currently working for Vodafone, prototyping user experience concepts for the Vodafone 360 platform, based on Android.
Although not his primary focus anymore, he occasionally does technical consulting, training and development on OpenCms projects (large corporate websites & intranets requiring a content management system), due to his vast experience on OpenCms over the past 5 years.
Mathias has 12+ years of professional experience in IT, thereof 5 years in China, and has been consulting clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. He is an enthusiastic proponent about technology and its impact on business and productivity.
For the past 6 years (2004-2009), he served as managing director for SYSVISION in Germany, Hong Kong, China and the US. The company serves national and international clients such as Lufthansa, Bayer, China Telecom, Unilever, Dräger, META Group/Gartner, Philips, Atos Origin, Malteser Hilfsdienst, Benchpark. Core business is the development of tailor-made software solutions for ERP, CRM, CMS, DMS.
